he is transferring from VT...very disheartening as he would've been a 3 year starter in the ACC...he will transfer to G'Town or George Washington to be closer to home
he will be a special player for whoever gets him
this leaves VT's backcourt as 4 true freshmen (Delaney, Thorns, Hudson and Pellum)

none at all...personal/family issues, needs to be close to home...i actually think highly of him for doing so, but i hate hate hate that he has to leave...not a doubt in my mind he would have gone down as the best PG to ever play at VT

I agree. Lots of potential. He could have been very special at VT.
